Mouth Hygiene

Everyone wants to have the perfect white smile from the toothpaste-ads. But too often our teeth are not quite white.

Reasons for yellowish teeth may vary. Among the most common are certain foods and beverages such as coffee, tea and some fruits. We can reduce these foods or drinks, but who would have given up their morning cup of coffee? Or a little fresh fruit juice?

Sometimes these things aren't the main culprits for yellow teeth. Unfortunately, some people just have naturally yellow teeth. As to convince us otherwise, seriously yellowed teeth cannot get whiter with just a toothpaste. But for a start, a good product will work.

Abrasive toothpaste can also cause problems, because over time it assist the abrasive erosion of tooth enamel, which in turn increases the "yellow teeth" effect. This is because on the outside the tooth appears white, but beneath the surface of the white enamel is a yellow core. And over time the white part erodes - and because of increasing age, or if you use hard toothbrushes and abrasive toothpastes. And yellow is shown below. The use of abrasive pastes, not only doesn't solve the problem, but also damages the teeth. Severe damage to the enamel can be dangerous.

To achieve stunning results and make our teeth whiter, we may ask our dentist to bleach our teeth. Teeth whitening is the most effective in especially yellow teeth or teeth, disfigured by patches of food.

If yellowish teeth is the result of accumulation of organic mass in them, mostly from food and drink, then there is no need to blanch them. Just wash them regularly, buy a quality brush and toothpaste, but it is not a bad idea also to get a bottle of mouthwash water - it keeps the fresh breath for a long time after washing. If you can, avoid foods and drinks that darken the teeth, such as chocolate, dark-colored fruits, red wine and coffee.

Of course, the best would be, if you brush your teeth immediately after you eat or drink any of these things. This is not always possible - though no one goes to work or to a meeting with a brush and a toothpaste in the pocket. So, in this situation, simply rinse your mouth well with water and then chew some sugar-free gum.
